Will of Joshua Hempstead, witnessed by John Richards, Ebenezer Holt, and Jemima Worthylake, true copy attested to by Pygan Adams. Heirs are grandson Joshua, son of Nathaniel, grandson Nathaniel, son Robert, son Stephen, son John, daughters Mary Perpoint, Abigail Miner, and Elizabeth Starr, and granddaughter Mary Eldridge. Son John appointed as executor. Witnesses sworn to by Gurdon Saltonstall, judge of probate. With the will is a legal complaint of a grandson that the will is indefeasible.
